There are so many fun things to do and experience while vacationing in Naples, Florida. We have written numerous articles about them. And since you are awesome and we like you we have decided today to compile these great things into a list of 15 with a brief description for each entry. Now, we may have missed some of the things but that’s okay, we’re sure to cover them in a future article and, also, the list is in not done in order of the best to least, the numbers are there for listing purposes. All these things are equally fun and awesome, if you ask us.

Warm Climate

The fact that Florida is warm is the state’s real main charm. There’s a reason this place is called the Sunshine State. It never snows here. And please give us a pat on the back for that nice rhyme.

Golf

Naples, Florida is a favorite destination among golfers. Naples alone has more than 100 golf courses 80 of which are championship courses, making the city The Golf Capital of the World.

Swamp Buggies

Swamp Buggies are huge motorized vehicles that were built from scratch. This is perfect for the people who like it rough. Annual drag races are held in Naples and other surrounding areas where contestants rev it up on muddy swamps.

The Arts

For those who have a taste for sophistication, Naples, has numerous art galleries and stage performance artists that make the city a center of high culture.

The Wine Festival

What better way to celebrate the high culture than some good wine? The annual Winter Wine Festival brings the most illustrious citizens and guests together in a night of elegance as well as charity since the event supports a foundation which gives out scholarship to deserving students.

Restaurants

Food glorious food. The city is alive with top tier cuisine from all over the world. The best part is all ingredients are guaranteed fresh since many of the chefs of the restaurants have partnered with the local fishermen and farmers.

Smallest Post Office in the US.

In the Everglades you can find the oldest post office in the region and the smallest in the United States. The amazing thing is that it’s still operational. People like to stop by and take pictures and post these in their social media.

Baseball Training

This one’s for all you baseball fans out there. There are training centers in SWFL where the Red Sox and the Minnesota Twins do their training and practice. You’ll be able to catch your favorite baseball stars right here.

Hiking Opportunities

Most of Southwest Florida is a vast wildlife and nature preserve. There are many government-run parks and camping sites you can go to when you want to experience the outdoors.

Gators and Crocs

Gators and Crocs are abundant out in the wilder areas of the region. See them in action and marvel at their ferocity, or enjoy them on your plate. Gators are a good source of protein.

A Fossa

If you’re not into ferocious monsters, you might want to check out the Naples Zoo. The place has a resident Fossa, a big and cute cat that’s friendly to people.

Pet Friendly Spots

Speaking of friendly animals, you can take your best friend to one of the beaches that allow dogs  or to Central Bark near downtown Naples.

Shelling

News alert: Shells you find along the beaches of Naples, Florida can be taken home with you. Where else can you find a beach that allows that?

Water Shuttles

What’s a cooler way to get around Naples, Florida than by water? None. Explore Tin City, Keewaydin Island and many other beautiful spots if you hop on one of the water shuttles in the city.

Beaches

It is no exaggeration to say that the Paradise Coast has some of the best beaches in the world. Bonus: Epic sunset.
