Naples, Florida is one of the places in Florida that’s been greatly impacted by the hurricane season but, fortunately the people of Naples know how to stand back up on their feet quickly in moments like these. That being said, most tourism related establishments have resumed operations as early as October 1 with more shops reopening in the days after for various safety reasons. There are debris like branches here and there on the side of the roads but clean up is going very well and, with safety in mind, it should be alright to travel along the roads in your car.
Now, one of the many things people say about Naples, Florida is that it’s an expensive place. But we have proven time and again through our articles that this is not the case. Now, we’re gonna take it up one step further by going around town with nothing but a hundred bucks. That’s right, with only $100 you can have a good time here in downtown Naples without a compromise on the experience.
So grab your bff twinsie with you as we stroll along the streets of Naples to spend $100 in one day.
Jump start your day with espresso on Third Street with its wine and pastry shop that has been there for generations while taking in the morning air by lounging at the patio next to a water fountain with a very Mediterranean vibe to it and a nice oat bar. All this cost no more than $9.
A few steps away from where we had breakfast Fifth Avenue South has a chain of stores offering discounted fashion accessories, jewelry, gift items and more, we picked up a nice looking towel with floral prints to match for $18. This is perfect for the sunny day ahead. The breakfast and the towel had us spent $28 so far.
The historical Tin City at 1200 Fifth Ave. S., is an unquestionable requirement in your visit in Naples. The open-air, tin-roofed shopping and eating destination is found appropriately on Naples Bay, as well. We selected “rum raisin” ice cream on a waffle cone for $9. Next, we found an arcade and there goes $3.
Still, in Tin City we couldn’t resist the fragrant shower bombs, cleanser bars and loofahs, and left away with five shower bombs for $21.92, with aromas of pink grapefruit, coconut water, and Pacific Ocean. We’ve spent $62. So far so good.
By lunch, we stopped for a Wagyu cheeseburger and a delightful brisket sandwich, which came to $28 after the tip. With the butcher shop and store appropriately nearby, the eating scene in Naples is amazing. However, we’ve already spend $90. Though the burgers were a great value for our money, we got to tighten up a bit now.
Luckily we spotted an organic general store by late afternoon which incorporates a juice bar, which makes the juices with new vegetables directly before you. That cost us $7 so that’s a total of $97.
Your tour in Naples is never complete without seeing a great sunset, so head on to Naples Pier to catch her arresting beauty. Good thing there was no entrance fee in the Naples Pier so with our $100, we were able to enjoy Naples, with some spare change of $3.
