The plethora of activities and places to visit can certainly cater to whatever the both of you decide on doing for your vacation. There is literally so many places to go to and things you can do, you cannot possibly do all of them in one or a few trips. So, we decided to classify the activities we found so it would be easier for you to select which one suit you best.
Outdoorsy
The region boasts of great outdoor adventures for you and your love. You can take a hike on a boardwalk trail in the Everglades National Park to spot some plant life and rare orchids; ride your bike across beach access points. You may also camp out in your RV in many of the wildlife sanctuaries all across Southwest Florida. Enjoy a camp under the stars or bask in the little rays of sunlight from the gaps of leaves as you paddle your way across the complex waterways of the region. But if you like it slower, then you can spread a mat on the sands of the beach and watch the sun go down while you’re in each other’s arms.
Indoorsy
Share a candlelight dinner overlooking the beach in one of the many world-class hotels in the city of Naples. Enjoy a bottle of wine while looking at each other’s eyes and holding each other’s hands. Then maybe go to the mall and look at the designer clothes that are lined up in every shop. Go to a spa and have your senses gratified. There’s one by 4th Ave South in Naples called DiVine Spa, worth checking out. And then, fill the rest of your night with steamy romance in the penthouse suite that are offered in the hotels in the region.
Sporty
Tour around Naples, Florida and attend the biggest sporting events in the world. The championship golfing tours happen in Florida, the winter training facility of the Red Sox is in Fort Myers and its open to the public, there’s the swamp buggy competition down in the Everglades, there’s even the world sand sculpting competition where people build amazing, almost impossible designs using only sand and last but not the least, the watercross championship happens here, where powerful jet skis race it out in an obstacle course on water.
Artsy
To indulge your fancier tastes, there are museums and art galleries in Naples alone, over 100 of them. The art scene is so alive here that Naples, Florida has been dubbed the number one Small Art Town of the country. You can also visit Artis—Naples where actors and theatrical performers display outstanding talent. The Naples Film Festival also happens yearly in this same venue and you can catch amazing new talent in filming and be able to watch curated art films as well.
