How about trekking along wooden boardwalks that take you deep into a cypress forest or taking your bike with you while enjoying the vast clearings? But, if you’re no landlubber, how about kayaking or renting a charter to fish out in the gulf? Then the vast wildlife preserves in the region will surely satisfy your outdoor cravings. There’s the Everglades National Park, The Ten Thousand Islands, The Big Cypress National Preserve and various wildlife parks all around the region.
