The beaches of the Paradise Coast have a lot of different kinds of seabirds and hawks flying about its crystal clear blue waters. Have you ever wondered how it is to see the islands and the beaches from their view?  If so, then you should try Parasailing. There are many parasailing companies that offer this amazing experience to locals and tourists. This gives you a chance to see the palatial homes, the tall hotel buildings, the immense natural beauty of the coast and the people who are on the beach from a perspective only you can view. Now, you can fly like a majestic hawk while soaring over the pristine waters of the Gulf of Mexico.

Parasailing first began as a training simulation in the 60’s for soldiers as a way to teach them how to land on a parachute. Today, it’s been commercialized for the enjoyment of the public and it’s really easy to do. The parasailing companies employ trained captains who use coast-guard inspected vessels to ensure utmost safety. This means the boats will be equipped with life jackets and fire extinguishers and an emergency exit procedure will be given in case of an accident. You will be boarding these boats and head further out into the sea, but not so far that you won’t be able to see the coastline. Once at the right distance from the coast, the captain and his assistant will prepare the parachute and the ropes and then send the parachute up into the air. It’s important to stay seated during this whole process to avoid bothering the preparations. Then, you will get called and the captain will strap you in firmly then slowly but surely send you up. Remember to keep you legs and feet relaxed and placed forward while this is happening. Once you’re up, it should be all good. You can feel the cool breeze on your skin while seeing the awesome view of the Paradise Coast.

Taking you down should be a fairly simple process too. Once your aerial trip is over, the crane will slowly pull you back into the boat. And it’s important to land on your feet and stand up once they touch the platform of the boat. Then, the crew will unstrap you from the harness and you peacefully go back to your seat in one peace then wait for the next person to take the ride. It’s that simple, no blood, no deaths, so no need for panics and heart attacks. However, if for some technical reason the captain won’t be able to land you on the boat, you will be slowly brought down to the water (you will be wearing a life jacket so there’s no problem about getting drowned) and another crew member from behind will pick you up using a jet ski and give you further instructions.

Parasailing is easy and very safe, so have fun.
